Home Education

Home Education, offered through Alberta Education, allows parents to serve as their child's primary educator. Parents are responsible for planning, delivering, and supervising their child's learning program in accordance with Alberta's Home Education regulations.

At Edmonton Catholic Schools, we believe home education thrives when families feel connected and supported. By working collaboratively, school administration, teachers, and parents can build strong partnerships that foster student success.

Through our faith-based community, we strive to support not only your educational goals but also your family's spiritual growth and sense of belonging. We look forward to building meaningful relationships, sharing resources, and creating opportunities for our home education families to connect, learn, and grow together.

YES. If the family is choosing ECSD as the supervisory board, then the student(s) remain registered with their ECSD School.
